Vibration White Finger and Hand-Arm Vibration, caused by exposure to vibration, are slowly progressive conditions. The development and severity is affected by the degree of exposure - particularly the magnitude, frequency, duration and transmission of the vibration. The symptoms are similar to those experienced in the condition known as Raynaud's.
The Stockholm Workshop Scale is now the accepted table for grading the severity of the condition. The amounts below are based upon this scale.
